Marcie is a completely different doll from all the ones I have made so far and is a kind of experiment in my work. I tried to bring novelty to many aspects of her making. She has a soft chubby body and looks much more like a classic Waldorf toy than my earlier art dolls - it differs in size, proportions, way of shaping wool, connecting parts, and the eyes are embroidered in a more complex fashion.
The arms and legs are connected by wooden balls (arms) and rollers (legs).
Her head and body are needle-felted and the arms and legs are stuffed with tightly packed wool.
Marcie has two plastic teeth and wears glasses, which contributes to her charm.
